京都市出身。桐朋学園大学音楽学部を経て同大研究科修了。'94年京都芸術祭新人賞受賞。第4回日本室内楽コンクール入選。これまでに井上頼豊、津田朝子、勝田聰一の各氏に師事。’14年第13回齋藤秀雄メモリアル賞受賞。

Hajime Otomo (Violincello)

Graduated from, and completed the postgraduate course at the Toho Gakuen School of Music. He won the New Talent Prize at the Kyoto Art Festival in 1994 and was a prize winner in the 4th Japan Chamber Music Competition. He performed on the radio program "NHK FM Recital" in 1998. He studied under Yoritoyo Inoue, Asako Tsuda and Souichi Katsuta.
